Project Goals

Design and develop a new website for the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB) that serves as a comprehensive resource hub for its programs, supporting communities nationwide with accessible health information and materials.

Overview

KAT partnered with Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB) to create the opportunity for partners to order health education and promotion items the Health Board has created online, all in one searchable easy-to-use website. The new platform allows visitors to request printed materials, with KAT managing fulfillment for all NPAIHB-approved requests. This initiative ensures that vital health resources remain easily accessible to communities across the nation.

The Approach

In an effort to raise awareness and encourage conversations around testing, treatment, and prevention regarding sexually-transmitted infections, KAT created three multiple-faceted campaigns for a national Indigenous audience. The deliverables for each were then housed on a landing page, where Indigenous clinics, health care providers, community members, etc. could “purchase” the deliverables, for free, to display within their facilities.

The Results

As a result of the success of this campaign, we worked with the client to create an online store where partners and community advocates could access their materials free of charge.  To date, hundreds of thousands of items have been ordered and distributed nationwide
